The small files we put on your device when you visit oating.com — what each one does, how long it sticks around, and how to clear them.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things like your login state, language preference, or which pages you have visited.
Some cookies are essential — without them the site cannot function correctly. Others are optional and used to understand how the site is performing.
Strictly necessary — session cookies that keep you signed into the partner portal and remember your cart or order draft. These cannot be turned off.
Analytics — privacy-respecting tools that count page views and report aggregate usage. We do not use them to identify individuals.
Preferences — small flags that remember UI choices like dismissed banners.
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use a small number of vendors that may set their own cookies on the pages they power — for example our hosting provider, analytics provider, and payment gateway. Each is bound by contract to use cookies only for the service we hire them for.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies expire after a set period — typically between 30 days and 13 months — depending on their purpose.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site (especially the partner portal) will stop working.
On most browsers, the relevant settings are found under Privacy or Site Settings. Major browsers also offer guides on how to manage cookies for individual sites.
If we add or remove a category of cookie we will update this page. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
