OATING is what happens when Malaysian taste meets Swedish craft. We make oat milk for people who care a lot about their coffee — and a little about everything else, too.
OATING is a tribute to timeless taste and refined living, where heritage-inspired elegance meets the purity of nature.
Proudly Malaysian-owned, OATING combines entrepreneurial spirit with an uncompromising commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and everyday practicality. Made from carefully selected oats and pristine water, OATING is more than oat milk — it is a mark of quality in every pour.
Designed to bring a premium café experience into the home, OATING offers a silky texture and refined flavour that elevate ordinary moments without complicating them. Priced close to dairy milk, OATING makes the switch to a plant-based alternative more accessible — better choices without stretching the budget or changing the routine.
With its balance of taste, quality, value, and versatility, OATING represents a contemporary standard in oat milk — refined in detail, practical in use, and built with the aim of becoming Asia's largest oat milk brand.
Late 2023, Bangsar. A friend ordered a flat white with oat. It split. The barista apologised. They started talking — about supply, about price, about why every good oat milk seemed to come from somewhere far away and cost too much when it got here.
By the end of that coffee, OATING had a name and a plan: source the best oats, partner with a Swedish mill that knew what it was doing, and ship a carton that pours like cream and prices like a friend.
We pick our oats, our water, and our partners with the same care a barista picks their beans.
No gums you can't pronounce, no marketing fluff, no pricing games for our cafés.
Malaysian roots, Swedish craftsmanship. Two soils, one carton, no shortcuts.
We didn't want to make oat milk. We wanted to make the oat milk — the one your barista actually asks for.
Two friends in KL ask why oat milk has to taste like cardboard.
First production run from a small mill outside Malmö. We bring 200 cartons home.
Common Man Coffee pours OATING. The team cries (a little).
Forty plus partners. One mission: a better pour, every day.
